  • Husband to Judy
  • Father to Marlaina & Eddie Jr
  • Brother to Tiny & Patsy
  • Uncle to many
  • Friend to thousands..............

We still carry you in our hearts Eddie.......

This tribute is for a very dear and true friend Eddie. I was very fortunate to be amongst the many who were touch and loved by this great man.

In life, there could be no better a friend than he. When Eddie called you his friend consider yourself lucky because he would literally give you the shirt off his back,! as a matter of fact, I still have a sweatshirt he lent me.

I cannot belive he is not here I can still hear his gentle voice calling:

This is my story:

I am creating this site in Memory of my friend Edward J Koller. Eddie was the founder of Jem Gulf Automotive Services in Yonkers. This is where I met Eddie and his wonderful family. There he provided friendly service to the community & friends for more than 20 years. Eddie has told me many stories about his adventures, travels and the people who he had meet along the way.

Eddie was more than just a friend to us, he was an inspiration and humanitarian. When he had an idea and persued it no matter what anyone had said or thought and for that I admire him! Eddie was always to help people in any way he could. I just can not stress enough how kind he really was. Eddie had a heart of gold. I will cherish the time I had knowing him and the laughs we had. Eddie we will truly Miss you My friend. We will never forget you.

If anyone has anything they would like to add to this site please email me.

A Tribute to Uncle Eddie

His wife called him Hun!. Many of his friends called him Eddie, but to many of us he was always Uncle Eddie. He was full of life and I don’t think he ever met a person he didn’t like. He charmed his way into the hearts of young and old alike with a smile, a kind word, a nod and a wink. No, you didn’t have to be around Eddie Koller very long to know that he loved people, he loved his family and he loved God.

Uncle Eddie left us suddenly one afternoon, just a short time after having his lunch outside his garage, as he did many days. A few months ago, Uncle Eddie celebrated his 56th birthday, he was happy and full of life. No one understands!

When Eddie Koller stepped out of this life onto the shores of Heaven, he left behind a legacy of goodness, and the message of love he always proclaimed. In September 2006, we paused to reflect on his life and to say farewell to Edward J.Koller. Joy mingled with sorrow as we celebrated a life well lived, a man well loved, and a God well glorified. Uncle Eddie, we salute you.
